In 1934 two young businessmen, Luis Riera Carré and Jaime Juanola Farres, began their entrepreneurial adventure by manufacturing bicycle accessories. They fused their names together to create the RIEJU brand name (RIEra+JUanola).

  • 1934 - Rieju Founded

  • 1942 - 1st Rieju Bicycle

  •  1949 - 1st Rieju Moped

  • 1953 - 1st Rieju Motorcycle

  • 1978 - Rieju enters Enduro competition

  • 1992 - Rieju’s 50th anniversary

  • 2019 - Rieju acquires GG Enduro Platform

 

SPAIN HAS ALWAYS PRODUCED SOME RENOWNED ENDURO MOTORCYCLES – BULTACO, OSSA, AND GASGAS WROTE A LARGE PORTION OF THE HISTORY BOOKS ON THE SPORT, AND THEY CLAIMED INNUMEROUS VICTORIES IN THEIR STORIED PAST. ALTHOUGH THESE NAMES HAVE MOVED ON, THE SPANISH ENDURO HERITAGE AND KNOW-HOW LIVES ON WITH RIEJU!
