Grinding Stone Hard Enduro 2024

Quinn Wentzel

Hayden Mosa

Grinding Stone Hard Enduro in the books. Rieju USA had a great weekend with Quinn Wentzel placing 10th and Hayden Mosa finishing 14th. The weekend started with both Quinn and Hayden flying through qualifying without any issues. Saturday night we headed into the streets of Page AZ, to show the town what endurocross is all about. With only a few minutes of practice, Hayden unfortunently didn’t get through the first round after getting stuck on one of the obsticles. Quinn made it through the first round after a tough battle, it was close in round two but that is where his night concluded. Sunday morning, it was go time, the races got pushed back one hour due to the weather. The point for the first moto on Sunday is to narrow the field down to just the best riders, Quinn and Hayden both made it through without any issues. Moto 3 (main event) started, and Quinn was running top 10, with Hayden following right behind. Throughout the long 2 hour race, there was loads of bottlenecks, a little bit of sleet, and heavy winds. The boys managed to push through the challenges and secure great results.

Quinn Wentzel: “I had an up and down day, passed my way up to 6th lap one and was feeling good. Unfortunately made too many costly mistakes and fell back to 12th made a hard push at the end and snagged a top ten, certainly not satisfied but proud of my efforts. Excited to get back east for round 3”

Hayden Mosa: “Grinding stone 2024 was a true testament to my ability on a dirt bike all the way around. I come from far east so the stuff out here in Page, Arizona is very foreign to me. I’m overall not totally disappointed with how the weekend went, but I was definitely hoping to get a little more out of myself! Coming away from that race with both body and bike in one piece is a win for me. I started out timid coming into each race and slowly started picking up my pace towards the end. The main event course was the gnarliest thing I have ever ridden in my entire life by far. I’m stoked to say that my third and final lap on that course I was able to ride every feature except stairway with no help!!”
